February 27, 2009:   Less than 2 years after its founding the law office of Giamanco & Ooink was honored by the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce by being named as the "Best of Bolingbrook" in the Professional Services category for the chamber's annual business awards.

January 2009:   For the second year in a row Giamanco & Ooink has been nominated to receive the "Best of Bolingbrook" award issued by the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce for its service and dedication to its clients.  Award winners will be named at the annual "Best of Bolingbrook" awards dinner on February 27, 2009.

December 4, 2008:   Giamanco & Ooink, in association with The Bugle Newspapers, hosted a Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours at their offices in Bolingbrook.

September 2008:   The Illinois State Bar Association General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Section Council published an article written by Joe Giamanco profiling his decision to leave his prior firm and open Giamanco & Ooink.  The article can be viewed here starting on page nine of the newsletter.

July 16, 2008:   Giamanco & Ooink served as a putting green sponsor at the Heart Haven Outreach annual golf outing and fund raiser. 

June 25, 2008:   For the second year Giamanco & Ooink sponsored a hole at the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce Golf Extravaganza.  The firm continued its tradition and hosted the "Closest to the Pin While Being Heckled" contest.  Many laughs were had and the event was once again a success.

May 3, 2008:     For the second year Giamanco & Ooink, in conjunction with Westbrook Christian Church of Bolingbrook, served as the official sponsor of the Cinco de Mayo Jalapeño eating contest at the Bolingbrook performing arts center.

April 24, 2008:   Giamanco & Ooink attended Brooks Middle School's "career day" discussing law and the legal field with those students interested in becoming lawyers when they grow up.

March 1, 2008:     Joe Giamanco lectured at DePaul University College of Law to law students and recent graduates regarding salary negotiations.

February 29, 2008:     Giamanco & Ooink, along with a number of other outstanding Bolingbrook businesses, were honored by their nomination for a "Best of Bolingbrook" business award.  Both Joe and Juan felt extremely honored to have been nominated for such an award within less than one year from the time they opened their Bolingbrook office.  While they did not win the award   Click here to view the article in pdf format.

December, 2007:  Giamanco & Ooink was nominated by the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce for the of "Best of Bolingbrook Business" award.  Award winners will be named at the annual "Best of Bolingbrook" awards dinner on February 29, 2008.

July 9, 2007:     Giamanco & Ooink settled the case of Doe v. Couch for the full policy limits of $250,000 on behalf of the Plaintiff.  For additional information see our Verdicts and Settlements.

June 27, 2007:     We served as a "hole sponsor" during the annual Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing.    Tasty beverages were served along with a good dose of heckling to numerous golfers who chose to participate in the firm's "Longest Drive While being Heckled" contest.

May 5, 2007:       On May 5, 2007, Giamanco & Ooink, in conjunction with Westbrook Christian Church of Bolingbrook, served as the official sponsor of the Cinco de Mayo Jalapeño eating contest at the Bolingbrook performing arts center.  Cash prizes were awarded to the top three finishers.

April 21, 2007:     Giamanco & Ooink held it's first "Ask an Attorney / Open House" event offering free walk in office consultations with no appointment necessary.  Clients were served on a first come, first served basis.  The event was well received and will likely be repeated in the future.

April 14, 2007:     Joe Giamanco lectured at DePaul University College of Law to law students and recent graduates regarding salary negotiations.

March 27, 2007:     A formal ribbon cutting was held at the law offices of Giamanco & Ooink in conjunction with the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce.  In attendance was the Mayor of Bolingbrook, Village Trustees, and numerous other distinguished community members.
